Healthy gums

It is important that we ensure that our gums are healthy as they are vital for keeping our teeth strong and sturdy. If your gums aren't looked after this can result in gum disease, which can lead to the loss of teeth. Furthermore, it has been shown that gum disease is closely linked with heart disease, therefore the care of your teeth affects your body as well as your mouth. Here at Borrowash Dental Centre we take this very seriously and are here to help with any concerns you may have.

The most important ways to keep your gums healthy include :

  • brushing your teeth twice a day

  • flossing daily
