Inlays and Onlays
Dental Inlays and Onlays are an alternative restorative treatment to fillings, and depend on the tooth's fracture or decay. An inlay is used when a problem forms in the centre of the tooth, whereas an onlay is used when cusps and outer edges of the tooth need to be restored also. They are made to fit the shape of the cavity and are cemented in place.
Here at Borrowash Dental Centre the main materials used for our inlays and onlays are Gold and Porcelain.
